Grudge or involvement in illegal drugs are the possible motives examined by police station 10 officers in the murder of former drug renunciant at Purok Narra Phase 4, Barangay Handumanan in the city after 6 p.m. on Friday 4 February.
Major Richard Fajarito, commander of Police Station 10, said the suspect, who shot Joseph Joscon, 46, from the barangay, was not identified because he was wearing a helmet.
Investigation showed Jocson was buying liquor at a nearby store when he was shot with an alleged .45 caliber to the head. He died instantly.
Fajarito noted that the area was not well lit and they had no witnesses.
He said they were informed that the victim also had a conviction for the crime of robbery in the town of Muntinlupa and had engaged in drug-related activities after his release.*
