Jalandhar: An accidental shooting incident took place on Thursday outside a jewelry store near Pakka Bagh here. However, no casualties were reported. The bullet, which was reportedly fired accidentally by the service weapon of a jewelry store security guard, hit the hood of a car. The incident happened outside Kirat Jewelers at around 11 a.m. The security guard is a CRPF retiree. He was said to have cleaned his rifle when the incident occurred. Hoshiarpur: A free milk testing camp was organized in Mohalla Hari Nagar by the Dairy Development Department. Giving information, Deputy Dairy Manager Harvinder Singh said 23 samples were collected from the camp, 14 of which were found adulterated with water. Apart from that, urea tests were performed on three samples and neutralizers were tested in four samples and harmful substances were not found in any of them.
