A man was arrested and drugs were confiscated after a search warrant was served Monday at a residence in Wyandot County.
According to a statement from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, the Wyandot County Special Response Team served the warrant at 7227 County Highway 2 in McCutchenville.
Detectives seized approximately 40 grams of suspected fentanyl, nearly $10,000 in cash, firearms, a vehicle and other items associated with drug trafficking.
Zachary Hal Carlos Saldana, 26, was arrested and charged with drug possession.
He is being held in Wyandot County Jail pending.
Additional charges are pending.
The seizure of the items was the result of an extensive investigation into illegal narcotics being served in Wyandot County.
Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit thanked Senaca County Drug Task Force, Wyandot County SRT Sheriff’s Office, Wyandot County District Attorney’s Office, Wyandot County EMS and the METRICH Enforcement Unit for their assistance in the successful completion of the investigation.
