Burglary offenses

Rose Street, Eastern Heights

Between 12:05 a.m. and 12:20 a.m. on June 20, unknown persons attempted to enter the address by trying to break the lock on the front door. They then smashed the glass in the front door and entered. They then searched the address and took a quantity of jewelry, cell phones, laptops and vehicle keys. They left in an unknown direction. Investigations are continuing.

Napier Cct, Silkstone

Between 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on June 22, unidentified individuals came to the address and entered the address by damaging the front door screen. They stole over 330 toy cars, a computer and 2 screens, and a quantity of alcohol. They then left in an unknown direction. Investigations are continuing.

Coverackstraat, Leichhardt

Between 5:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. on June 25, a man reportedly entered an address and was disturbed by the resident. He allegedly told the resident he was looking for his sharps container before leaving the address. The resident later realized that his wallet was missing.

A 31-year-old man from Leichardt is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on June 27, charged with burglary, attempted fraud, breach of bail, breach of domestic violence order and non- needle disposal.

Vehicle offenses

Wentworth Street, Leichhardt

Between midnight June 21 and midnight June 22, unidentified persons came to the residence and removed the front and rear license plates by unscrewing the screws.

Investigations are continuing.

Samford Road, Leichhardt

Between 10:00 a.m. on June 24 and 4:00 a.m. on June 25, unidentified persons attended the address and entered the vehicle through the passenger door and searched the vehicle. No items have been deleted.

Investigations are continuing.

Avenue Pinehurst, Leichhardt

Between 2:40 a.m. and 2:50 a.m. on June 25, unidentified persons came to the address and entered the vehicle. They removed a wallet from the vehicle.

Brisbane Road, Booval

Between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on June 25, unidentified persons went to the address and removed the front and rear license plates by unscrewing the screws.

Investigations are continuing.

Between 9:00 p.m. on June 24 and 12:10 a.m. on June 25, unidentified persons came to the address and removed the rear license plate by unscrewing the screws.

Drunk/drug driving

Downs Street, North Ipswich

On June 20, a 46-year-old man from Brassall reportedly returned a positive roadside drug test (RDT). He is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on August 12, charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

Dixon Street, Wulkuraka

On June 21, a 34-year-old man from Hatton Vale reportedly returned a positive roadside drug test (RDT). He is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on August 10 charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

Downs Street, North Ipswich

On June 21, a 37-year-old man from Camira reportedly returned a positive roadside drug test (RDT). He is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on August 12, charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

Brisbane Street, Ipswich

On June 22, a 39-year-old man from Yamanto reportedly returned a positive roadside drug test (RDT). He is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on August 18 charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

Blackstone Road, Silkstone

On June 23, a 46-year-old man from Bundamba reportedly returned a positive roadside drug test (RDT). He is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on August 10 charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

Limestone Road, Ipswich

On June 23, a 30-year-old man from Inala reportedly returned a positive roadside drug test (RDT). He is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on July 28 charged with driving under the influence of drugs.
