The Melbourne Storm CEO has made a startling revelation about the club’s investigation of a trio of players over leaked videos last week.
While the Storm’s Cameron Munster and Brandon Smith were filmed partying with a white substance in leaked videos last week, the club’s CEO revealed that the players had never been tested for doping after the release of the images.
The club and the NRL Integrity Unit have launched a full investigation into Munster, Smith and Chris Lewis over their involvement in the video, who received significant penalties earlier today.

Munster will enter a treatment center for four weeks and receive a suspended $ 100,000 fine, while Smith has been given a $ 50,000 suspended fine from the club.
It’s unclear exactly what the white matter was in the videos since the videos were released, and Storm CEO Justin Rodski has remained in the dark about the substance’s true nature.
âI don’t know what it was,â Rodski said. âI wasn’t in the room.
Rodski also confirmed that the players did not undergo drug tests following the incident and that it had nothing to do with the club itself.
“The club is not allowed to test players for drugs,” Rodski said. âDrug testing is done by the NRL. “
“This is part of the CBA (collective agreement) in association with the RLPA (Rugby League Players Association).”
According to Rodski, the NRL’s testing policy, which covers dangerous and illicit drugs, does not extend to the offseason for players.
The players involved were also unable to clarify what the white matter was.
“It is clear that due to excessive alcohol consumption and intoxication, the players have a limited memory of what happened or did not take place in this hotel room,” said said Rodski.
âOther than saying they put their hand up and agreed and recognized that the look was far from ideal.
“Their physical appearance was really disappointing, and the fact that they are there in this position is something that really disappoints the club.”
