INCIDENT SUMMARY: On 9/18/2021 at approximately 5:11 p.m., Vermont State Police dispatch was made aware of a single motor vehicle accident at a pole in the Legion Drive area in Hartland, VT. Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks responded to the scene. A subsequent investigation revealed that the operator, Timothy Oconnell, was operating under the influence of intoxicants with a license suspended criminally. Oconnell also had an active arrest warrant. Oconnell was subpoenaed to appear before the Vermont Superior Court Windsor Criminal Division on 10/26/2021 to answer the charges and held on bail for $ 2,500 per underlying warrant.
