White Plains man charged with possession of illegal drugs



PLEASANT VALLEY, NY – A man from White Plains has been charged with using illegal drugs while driving on Taconic State Parkway.

New York State Police said Travis M. Campbell, 35, of White Plains, was charged Wednesday with two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.

The soldiers said around 6:30 p.m. they pulled over a 2001 Honda Accord for a vehicle and traffic violation on the Taconic in the town of Pleasant Valley.

The investigation found that Campbell had about 33.3 grams of cocaine and intended to sell it, police said.

He was arraigned in Pleasant Valley City Court and released on his own undertaking to appear in court again on September 21.
